Mixed-Use/Multi-Use Projects

Ledge Rock Center

Ledge Rock is a 240 acre, mixed-use, master planned community in Johnstown, Colorado. A complete community located on the southeast side of I-25 and State Highway 60, it will contain 1000 new apartments, 196 new single family residences, and over 850 thousand square feet of retail space.  This project is the western edge and gateway to Johnstown. We have provided the full array of our service offerings including Surveying, Planning, Civil Engineering and Landscape Architecture.  The project includes cooperation and coordination with just about every entity and agency you can imagine, Town of Johnstown, Colorado Department of Transportation (CDOT), Great Western Railway, Home Supply Ditch Company, multiple oil and gas entities, Xcel, Lumen, TDS, CenturyLink, Department Water Resources, farmers, and neighbors.

The Corners

The Corners, located at Wadsworth Boulevard and West 38th Avenue, is a 15-acre mixed-use development that contains commercial, retail, office, and residential space. This project is the gateway into downtown Wheat Ridge and main street to the east.  Point provided full scope services for this project including the apartment complex at the south end of the property along West 35th Avenue.  The site contains a regional detention pond that remained through development and serves a portion of the proposed project.  Due to space constraints the northern half of the site’s stormwater is conveyed to an underground facility in one of the parking lots.  Development of the corners required significant roadway widening on 3 sides of the project.  Wadsworth Boulevard was widened to an interim condition until CDOT is ready to widen the entire roadway.  Point worked with CDOT to obtain approval on the Wadsworth Boulevard widening.  Point also provided construction phase services working closely with the contractor and owners to progress through construction.
